At least for a certain period of time. Just like 3 x 10 worked like steroids when you first begin weight training, it no longer creates the same response. That goes for any technique and system.

Your body will act out of "alarm" to any unfamiliar physical challenge. Similar stimuli cause your muscles to "laugh" at you, metaphorically speaking. Your muscles would prefer to sleep all day and stay the way they are - you must give them a REASON to "wake up" and grow until they need a more powerful stimulus.

3. NOTHING WORKS FOREVER 

In my programs, I include multiple phases that change in volume, frequency and intensity because I'm fully aware that you will adapt to anything I dish out at you. That's another reason I have no problem recommending other people’s systems and advice as well as my own.

That is why I don’t believe in “certification” programs, because these programs look at the world as a nail while they are the hammer. And I believe there is more than one way to put a hole in the wall.

One of my favourite quotes is, "The best program is the one you follow.”
